Silly Bean!!!

We will no longer be the Thompson Three, we found out it's going to be the Thompson FOUR!

We are expecting a Baby Bean soon. (that is the code I've been putting in my status', silly bean). Tay thought the baby was already full size and I told her it was the size of a bean, one night before she went to bed she said, "night night baby bean", and it has stuck ever since. It was my way of being excited about it, but not fully telling everyone.

I am 11 weeks and we are due December 18th... Another Christmas baby, (Taylor's birthday is Christmas day.)

We are excited! Taylor can't wait to be a big sister and is hoping for a boy! Gar is glad I finally gave in and decided we could start trying. And I feel blessed seeing as I thought I would have problems. I am excited to become a first (birthed) time mommy.

Just wanted to share our great news!!!!

Here is to another exciting 29 weeks.

Oh Happy Day!!!!

After a long battle it has happened!

We got custody of my Hunnie Bunnie April 07 last year... Since then we have been counting down the days until we were married a year so we could pursue me adopting her. Her biological mother has said for the last year, "tell me when you are married a year, I will sign over rights and walk away..."

Well, as of Wednesday, May 20, she signed consent to sign over rights. YAY!!! First step in the adoption process, but since it is uncontested we are hoping and praying it will be smooth sailing from here!

Thank you everyone for your prayers! (we will keep y'all posted)

Next time is a charm...

My dear sweet husband didn't make first class this time.

This was our 4th test together. It would have been lovely considering we didn't want to go to sea duty and the extra $$$ would be lovely considering our circumstances, but we are blessed he has a job.

So, Lemoore, Cali, here we come!!!

Orders... silly bean!!!

Lemoore, California...

We officially have orders, but that could all change depending on the 1st class results.

As of now we are going to sea duty (again) attached to the USS Nimitz. Garrett will be attached to a squadron in Lemoore and the ship is stationed out of San Diego. Sea duty means more deployments and a possible WESTPAC (6-9mth deployment) coming up. Which honestly, ruins all plans we had.

Welcome to the NAVY! :)

We are excited to move somewhere warmer with sun, but will of course miss our Washington families. We will now only be a few hours away from Garrett's brother, and a midpoint between WA family and my in-laws in New Mexico. So it works out alright as far as location, just not timing.

We find out if Garrett made 1st class around the end of the month! (cross fingers and toes). If, WHEN he picks up 1st class our orders could change again to go to shore duty like we were supposed to. I will keep you all posted on our whereabouts and him making rank!!!
